This summer you will get a chance to meet life-size dinosaurs from up close in the unique Dino World Interlaken. From March 25, 2023 to October 29, 2023, primeval giant Dinosaurs weighing tons will populate the city of Interlaken in a one of a kind exhibition just outside the Höhematte in the centre of town. Young and old dinosaur fans can look forward to the largest dinosaur show ever in Switzerland with over 60 Jurassic dinosaurs, displayed at scale and real-life size. Jurassic Park in Interlaken!
Once again Interlaken manages to offer a unique outdoor activity with its summer dinosaur park. After the highly successful Winterlaken Christmas tree labyrinth now the dinos are coming to town!
Have you always wanted to see the 30 meter long Diplodocus, the 2 ton Triceratops, the giant Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Torosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Dimetrodon, Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus, Maiasaurus and many more… Now you can experience them up close and in all their glory right in the centre of Interlaken.
A pure “prehistoric feeling” is guaranteed! You can even take a picture or selfie with them!
Unique about this outdoor exhibition is that all models were manufactured under scientific guidance, so they are scientifically sound. The visitor can take very precise impressions of this species, just like they used to be while dotting the earth thousands of years ago.
What came after the Dinosaur…?
Also integrated in the outdoor exhibition are “THE DESCENDANTS OF THE DINOSAURS”! So not only can you see the T-rex but also its direct descendants like the “mammoth”, “sloth” or “saber-toothed tiger”. The latter you will definitely recognize from the “Ice Age” films
